To Make Quaker Old Fashioned Grits For 1 serving of Grits, use ¼ cup grits, 1 cup water and a dash of salt (optional).

For 4 servings of Grits, use 1 cup grits, 4 cups water and ¼ tsp. of salt (optional).

1. Slowly stir grits and salt into briskly boiling water.
